The OSU Marine Studies Initiative building (MSI) is located in Newport, OR, adjacent to the internationally respected Hatfield Marine Science Center on Yaquina Bay. The facility will connect Oregon State students to world-class research facilities close to the Pacific Ocean. The 70,000sf +/- building will primarily serve as a teaching and research facility. It will also include a 250 seat auditorium and an innovation lab.
Scope: NWESI with HughCx provided LEED equivalent Fundamental and Enhanced Cx for the project. Systems Commissioned are

- Lighting controls, irrigation, and security
AIR Introduction provided testing, adjusting, and balancing services as part of the Commissioning team.
