Tom joined NWESI in 2016, after working on energy and power generation projects for commercial and residential buildings for 18 years, with prior experience in the aerospace industry. Tom brings a wealth of people and technical skills he’s honed while working for both established corporations and fledgling startups. He’s been a member of international code and safety committees for hydrogen and fuel cells, and is a registered Professional Engineer. Tom and his wife raise free range kids and animals on their hobby farm, and enjoy the wonderful outdoor opportunities the Pacific Northwest has to offer. He devotes some of his remaining spare time towards promoting STEM careers to youth, including serving on industry advisory boards and teaching at local colleges and universities.
