Portland International Airport: Technical Analysis Study

Portland International Airport is an airport terminal with ticketing, security, hold rooms, concessions, baggage claim, baggage handling, and airline operations space. The project area contains approximately 550,000SF.  It included most areas in concourses C, D, and E. NWESI acted as an ATAC ally for the retro-commissioning of this project.

This project involves Retro-Cx of 24 air handling units in concourses C, D and E. These concourses were built between 1991 and 1998 with tenant improvements through 2001.  Scope includes point-to-point verification, sensor calibration, and sequence verification among other items. The simple payback was projected to be 8.4 years with an ROI of around 12%.
