David joined NWESI in 2018. Before that time, he has worked in the motion picture and television industry as a grip, best boy grip, key grip and set electrician. His job specifically focused on supporting the camera department by designing and building custom camera mounts and rigging.
After spending a number of years traveling on the road away from home to pursue his film career, David decided to retire from the film business in order to spend more time with his family. He has held various jobs including commercial fisherman, oilfield roustabout, corporate travel consultant and film equipment rental shop manager. David is an avid surfer and spends as much time as he can in the water. He also enjoys sport fishing, playing music, and building custom radio gigs and antennas.
