Clackamas County Courthouse

The new $313 million courthouse at the Red Soil Campus is replacing the original building constructed in 1936. This new 216,000 sf building will serve the county’s rapidly growing population of more than 420,000 and features 14 courtrooms and 20 judicial chambers. The courthouse offers easy access to social services, behavioral health, public health, juvenile, veterans’ services, and A Safe Place Family Justice Center.

NWESI provided commissioning services for the building envelope, fire and life safety systems, domestic plumbing, HVAC, HVAC controls, electrical distribution and emergency power, lighting controls, photovoltaic, communications, and electronic safety and security systems.
