After graduating high school, Rich immediately began working with a research facility, but decided he wanted to pursue a different career path, and spent the next few years in the automotive industry. Here, he became a technician, working up from a basic A tech, to a B tech. Shortly after his four year mark there, he continued to push toward a more direct career path and, inspired by his parents work, looked into the healthcare industry before joining NWESI.
In his free time, he loves to work on cars and do outdoor activities such as hunting and fishing with his father.
