As part of Lane Community College’s pandemic re-opening plan, LCC requested a ventilation study to assess the need for airflow adjustments in the Math and Science Building on campus. During the survey, NWESI discovered several failed fire smoke dampers, prompting an inspection and testing of all Fire Smoke Dampers (FSDs) in Building 16. As the project progressed, we determined that all 80 FSD actuators required replacement. Our team also assisted with troubleshooting the wiring installation related to the low voltage control system.
