Being the daughter of one of the founders of NWESI has afforded Gayle the ability to see the many changes the company has had through the years. During middle and high school, Gayle’s dad would periodically bring home blueprints and taught Gayle how to color in the different heating, cooling and water systems. In 1987, after teaching elementary school for a few years and substitute teaching, Gayle’s dad offered her a job at NWESI. Gayle no longer colors blueprints, but she stays busy with her roles in the administrative area, including Accounts Payable, keeping corporate state and city licenses current, assisting with Human Resources responsibilities and many other duties. In her spare time, Gayle enjoys spending time with her two adorable grandchildren who recently moved back to the Portland area from Brooklyn, NY.
