10/10/2018 – Franklin High School Career Exploration Day, Oct. 10
Business representatives from a variety of career pathways (Construction, Apprenticeships, the Trades, Healthcare, Engineering, Software, etc.) attended the Career Exploration Day yesterday at Franklin High School. They spoke with students about their careers, skills, training, salary and other aspects of their work. While sophomores take the PSAT, freshmen and juniors will be exposed to a variety of career pathways through their participation in Career Talk Panels available during the day. Seniors worked on their Graduation Requirements, and attended a session on “How to Build a Professional Resume” that was offered. There was also two field trips (to PCC and WOU) planned for AVID students to explore and learn about post-secondary options. See attached for speakers and schedule.
