NWESI was established and has been in continuous operation since 1958. Our focus was originally on what is now called "commissioning." In 1996, NWESI became an employee-owned company (ESOP). Our staff is 30 strong and our business has expanded each year. Our experience shows NWESI continues to develop our staff's expertise, refine the delivery of our services, allowing us to deliver systems and buildings that work as intended.

We have the expertise to assure that systems operate as intended by getting hands-on familiarity with the systems and applying our engineering knowledge to develop appropriate tests, adjustments and documentation to verify performance. Our ability and commitment to providing this type of engineering service is why most of our clients are long-term, repeat customers. In fact, our clients trust us to the extent that they request our help on their toughest and most demanding projects.

NWESI is an Oregon company with headquarters in Tigard. From this location we can easily meet the demands of our clients anywhere in the Northwest. With the abundance of high technology, healthcare and commercial clients in the Portland Metro and Southwest Washington markets, most of our clients are local. Yet our expertise, reputation, and unique approach have involved us with clients in other states and around the world. For example, we have performed services as far away as Ireland, Barbados, Israel and Guam.
