Challenge: This is a two story building totaling approximately 50,000 square feet. From opening day the facility suffered from excessive noise in classrooms, poor temperature control, and excessive energy use.

Solution: NWESI conducted a Forensic Commissioning study and found control system deficiencies such as incorrect displayed information and poor loop tuning. We also measured and documented noise levels in selected locations. This helped identify installation and equipment start-up procedures issues.

Result: NWESI delivered a 30 page report detailing our findings. This information is being utilized by the owner to develop a plan for corrective actions.
